My name is Luis, I am 29 years old and I am from Mexico City. Right now, I am studying Business. My big plan is to learn as much as I can so I can eventually come back to my country and take over the family business, we have been involved in the restaurant industry for a long time and we have expanded that to different sectors of the market, a good example could be, one of our sauces, many people loved it so we decided to brand it and sell it around conventional stores. The only condition for me to take over the company was to get a degree in business outside the country due to all the responsibility managing a place like that needs. I hope I can accomplish it as soon as possible so I can come back and show my family the new ideas I have in mind.
So far, I think that IS101 is a class in which you can learn a lot of things that we do not even know we have them in our personal computers, Sometimes we make a little task extremely long and all this happens because we do not know how to use the tools that are in front of us. Now talking about CSN, I believe it is a very cool place to be around, it has a lot of spaces around the campus that you can use to do homework or to get some help with some of your assignments.
One of the skills that I have found pretty useful is the copyright facts, This is important because it helps you understand your legal rights and responsibilities, protects your own creative work, proper and academics practices and promotes a balanced environment for creativity.

ReplyDeleteHello Luis, doing college out of your home country to apply the knowledge to family business is very impressive. Have you been to United States before coming specifically for college? What is your favorite thing about the US? How does it compare to Mexico? I have never been outside of the United States simply for expense reasons. If I were to go to another country, it might be Japan or South Korea. Any other countries you would like to visit?
